Design Awards

AIA Alaska’s Design Awards Program was established in 1965 to promote community awareness of great designs being developed by alaskan architects.

For over 50 years, these annual design awards have recognized buildings that both satisfy the needs of the user and significantly contribute to a stimulating built environment.

2025 CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

The AIA Alaska 2025 Annual Design Awards is calling for applications to submit your built, unbuilt, and recently renovated projects to be judged on their merit by a distinguished jury of AIA architects from another AIA Chapter. All project types are eligible for submission by members — from small home renovations to million-dollar projects.

The Annual AIA Alaska Design Awards Program provides an avenue for our members to be recognized by their peers for their effort and dedication to excellence in architectural design. In doing so, we hope to raise public awareness of design excellence and the special role of AIA architects in the community.

Application Deadline Extended: must be received by Friday, August 15, 5:00 pm (postmarked or by e-mail)

View the Instructions: links to additional forms required can be found in the instructions or by contacting us before the submittal deadlines.
